ADHD & Autism Assessments

  • I offer neuro-affirming autism and ADHD assessments via telehealth.

I also offer Identity Consultations for those who are not seeking an evaluation, but rather seeking a space to explore their neurodivergent identity. This is not a diagnostic process, but one that accepts self-diagnosis as valid and/or to process a previous diagnosis.

“Our approach is healing-centered, gender inclusive, and rooted in the principles of the neurodiversity paradigm and the social model of disability. Most importantly, our approach is informed by autistic, adhd, & multiply neurodivergent people.” - Rachel Boggan, The Properties of Light

I am trained in the MIGDAS-2, a non-pathologizing and individualized interview which focuses on the person’s internal experience rather than requiring observation of an autistic person in distress. The interview is known for identifying identifying lesser known or less obvious autistic traits found in minority populations that are often missed by other tools due to masking, above-average intelligence, or underrepresentation in diagnostic manuals. We additionally implement multiple evidence-based screening tools to supplement the interview with quantitative data and a well-rounded picture of the client’s experience.

The interview itself takes about two hours (or three for ADHD + Autism assessments) and results in a thorough profile that describes the individual's unique way of existing in and relating to the world.

A combined assessment includes the DIVA-5 diagnostic interview, in addition to multiple quantitative measures, in order to identify potential ADHD traits.

  • We are unable to accept insurance for assessments. Instead, we utilize an equitable pricing model to make services as financially accessible as possible!
